About
Jeroen Van Laer is a research assistant at the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and a member of the M²P research group since February 2006. His current research interest concern social movements and collective action mobilization. For three years he explored the impact of new communication technologies on protest participation and social movement organizations. Starting the summer of 2009 he is preparing a Phd on motivations of protest participants. The thing he loves the most is distributing protest surveys in heavy rain and cold freezing wind on a free Saturday afternoon!
