About

Originally Polish but equally in love with Turkey, I currently live and work on my PhD research project in Antwerp. The project investigates the (re)presentations of sexual and gender minorities on Polish and Turkish websites tailored for LGBTQs. It is a four-year project started in October, 2010.

I did my BA (2007) and MA (2009) in Journalism and Social Communication at Jagiellonian University (JU) in Krakow. In the meantime, I participated in the Erasmus Programme in Istanbul, where I followed courses at the Department of Radio, TV and Cinema at Kadir Has University. When back to Krakow, I started a Bachelor programme at Turkish Philology department, also at JU (I completed full two years of the programme).
